On this page, I share the little things that worked for my son. He used some of them for a few months and then switched to regular items by himself.
Bear in mind that it only reflects our experience.

Toothbrush

Our mornings and evenings were very chaotic. The bathroom was a battlefield. One afternoon, browsing online, I found this toothbrush. It was a game changer. Back then, I had to order it directly from the States. But writing this page, I realised it was now on Amazon.
Watch

This watch works wonders with routines. We used it alongside the toothbrush. It is straightforward to programme, and there are many different options. It did help my son know the days of the week, which he could never remember before.
Chewable

When my son was younger, he’d constantly chew—his fingers, his sleeves, whatever was closest. Finding a chewy necklace that actually worked felt like such a relief. It gave him something safe and satisfying to chew on without feeling self-conscious, and it gave me one less thing to stress about. It was a small change that made a big difference in our day-to-day.
Spinning Chair

My son had an older version (not as nice!) of this sensory spinning chair, and it was a game-changer for helping him regulate and build balance. This new model looks even better—sturdier, smoother, and just the kind of movement support that kids with sensory needs (like his) really benefit from.
Swing

For my son, the baby swing was an absolute lifesaver—he spent hours in it every day on full speed, and it brought him so much calm. It wasn’t cheap, but worth every penny, especially knowing it was likely supporting his vestibular system (and possibly proprioception too), helping him feel more regulated in his little body.
